Chapter 70
- Mary's POV
- The way he looks at me is not something I really fancy, it's more than someone that wants to help. I quickly flinch my gaze away from him. I can't continue staring at him this way. I never hoped to sit face to face with a handsome billionaire CEO in my life, so no one would really understand how it's really intimidating here, as I'm the average-confident type. He forces me to look at him again with a flinch of his hand. My eyes are blinking unsteadily as this occurs, I can't wait to get some charity and get out of his sight. It's intimidating as hell.
- "What are you thinking?" He says, more of like an awakener, to take me out of my depressed state. I clear my throat, sitting up before him. "I know you must be anxious about what's gonna be your lot in this case?"
