• "Don't try that!" I warned him. "I know what you're trying to do, you're trying to make me forget what's going on." With a slack in his grip, I escaped storming towards Leilani but he was fast enough to grab before I could reach her.
• "You want her to rest right, just let her be. Let her dress and get her stinking ass out of here!" I heard George say, I turned to look at who was speaking with lips spread wide. I'd never heard him say something like this before. Was he trying to please me or was it some kind of propaganda? I wondered.
