Chapter 30 Her Response

• Alice tossed and turned on the bed. She tried many times to sleep but she just couldn’t. Her mind kept changing its stance. She should come up with a final answer. Maybe then, her mind would stop bothering her.
• When Conrad left her unit, she did cry. Silently. Then, she realized he would still hear her sobs, no matter how much she suppresses them. She openly cried, then.
