Chapter 50 Moving Out

• I was surprised that Andrew wanted to help me move, but I wasn’t going to turn him down. I agreed to wait until the weekend, and Andrew offered to lug everything—including the stuff I still had at Noah’s place—in a U-Haul trailer towed by his GMC Hummer EV SUT Omega Edition. It was the most efficient option, so when Saturday came, we loaded everything into the rented trailer and headed off to Noah’s house for the rest.
• Things were tense as Noah and Andrew piled the rest of my stuff into the trailer. Even though I was distracted by the way Andrew’s muscles flexed under his shirt as he lifted boxes, I couldn’t ignore the way the two men glared at each other whenever they passed or how Andrew stood a little taller to make himself tower over Noah. If I hadn’t been there, I was sure that they would have tried to tear each other apart.
• Fortunately, we weren’t at Noah’s place for long. Unfortunately, Andrew saw me give Noah a hug before returning to my car. The expression on Andrew’s face afterward could have wilted flowers—or an attorney.
