Chapter 6 Get Yourself A woman!

  • A few hours later the ray of light coming
  • out from the open curtain shine directly at Clara's face. She raises her hand using it to cover her face. She blinks her eyes repeatedly until it adapts to the light. Everything around her seems strange as she wakes up with a bright smile on her face.
  • "Why the hell am I smiling?" She raises her hand to her face as she uses her two palms to cover her face. For the first time since she received the doctor's note, she is actually smiling.
  • I stretch her two hands above her head and I yawn loudly when suddenly she pauses when she remembered last night. The guy she met at the restaurant. Quickly, she turned beside her in search of him but he was nowhere to be found.
  • "What the hell, am I dreaming, or what I left him here he slept beside me last night," Clara says to herself, tapping on the bed assuring herself that she isn't wrong.
  • Her head tilted to the side when she realized that he might be in the bathroom. She wants to call his name just then it dawns on her that he didn't tell her his name last night. They didn't even exchange any personal information.
  • "Shit, how could I be so dumb to bring a stranger home without even knowing his name?" She quickly gets up from her bed and checks the inner room. He is not there. She checked the bathroom and walked out to check the sitting room. He was not there either.
  • "F*ck" She hissed loudly as she made her way back inside her room. She took in a deep breath as she ran her hands across her scattered hair then she paused when her eyes caught a white paper placed beside the bed. Hurriedly she rushed to it and opened it, reading aloud to myself.
  • Meet me at 'Grand Gold' building, tell the receptionist to direct you to my office on the upper floor, give her this paper and once she sees my signature she will believe you.
  • Clara rolled her eyes after she was done reading it. What should she come to his office to do? She needed nothing from him and besides, he already paid her yesterday for serving him at work. She was about to tear the paper into shreds when her eyes caught another writing at the bottom of the paper.
  • I know you might be stubborn and might decide not to come but make sure you come because I have a better job for you in my company.
  • "A better job" Clara mumble under her breath she has always wanted a better job and to stay away from her stupid boss that can't keep his d*ck in his pants. Carefully, she folded the paper and placed it inside her handbag.
  • Maybe this is an opportunity for her to give Aria a better life before her departure.
  • She checked the time and it passed 10 o'clock.
  • "Damn it, I will be late." She quickly rushed inside the bathroom to brush her teeth and take her bath.
  • She needed to go pick Aria up. She would be expecting her.
  • **************
  • The ringing of Alexander's phone distracted him from his thoughts. He checked the screen and it was his father calling him. His brow furrowed in surprise as he stared at the screen for a few seconds then he knew that something must be wrong because his father doesn't usually call him and when he calls, it was for something urgent or serious.
  • "Hello Dad" he placed the phone in his ear trying to sound okay even when his instinct kept blaming his father for what happened to his mother.
  • "Leonardo, where are you?" Alexander shut his eyes tight in anger hearing his father call him that name. He hates the name so much that it always brings back her memory because that was the last word he heard from her before she died in his arms and the name always reminds him of her, the pains, and everything he has been through.
  • "Father, can you please stop calling me that name." He warned, trying to sound calm but his voice is nothing close to being calm.
  • "Maybe in the next world that is your birth name, the name given to you in Moon Shine Pack on the day you were born as a proud Alpha to be so I am afraid I won't be able to stop calling you that"
  • Alexander clenched his hand tight on the phone as he poured all his vexation on it any moment from now the phone might crash down in his hands due to how much strength he used in holding it.
  • "What did you want from me now, father?" he grumbled under his breath.
  • "Meet me in the pack house now I give you just one hour to be there"
  • "What did you want me to come..." before he could complete his statement his father hung up on him.
  • "I hate my life" he screamed, throwing the phone on the wall as it came crashing onto the floor.
  • This is not the kind of life Alexander wanted but fate gave cruel luck to him making him to chose the path he wanted the part his father always directed him to he has never lived his life he has never smiled truly to himself all this while he has been living the life his father wants him to as a young perfect Billionaire. As Alexander Walton McMillan the CEO of Grand Gold empire.
  • It was never his own life.
  • Alexander quickly picked up his car key and in a hurry, he rushed out of his room.
  • "Sir, which of the cars are you taking," his chauffeur asked him immediately as he came out.
  • "Did you have to ask me that? Don't you know your job? you should decide which we should take." He yelled in the air pouring all his anger on the innocent man.
  • "Sorry sir" his chauffeur apologized bowing his head lightly.
  • "I will go with the Mercedes-Benz," he finally said to the man and in a second he was already inside the car as they speed out of his mansion with three other cars following them behind.
  • Alexander walks through his pack, his two hands slipped inside his pocket whenever he comes here it always brings back the memory of his mother and her dying wish is for him to protect his people and not let anyone take his place as the Alpha.
  • The only time that he was always here was during the pack's first moon festival which is always held at the end of every year. He misses everyone and he doesn't spend much time with them.
  • The Moon Shine Pack is the biggest and the only pack in Bryxton city, this is where all the werewolves' family comes to meet every year while others come frequently. The werewolves live among humans and no one knows about their existence except they are told. Humans are not allowed into their pack except you are one of them so they are all saved here because his father the Alpha makes sure of that.
  • "Leonardo" he heard a voice call him and immediately he knew that it was his father he is the only one that calls him by his birth name.
  • "Father" he faked a smile as he took a few steps toward his father who was waiting for him under the big tree.
  • "Father, why did you call me here when you know that I will be busy with work?" Alex stands before his father, his two hands in his pocket. He is exactly the same as Walton Sebastian. When you see him it looks like you are looking at young Sebastian, the older version of Alexander.
  • They have the same color of hair, the same color of eyes, and the same height only that Alexander is a little bit taller. The only difference between them is his skin color and the shape of his lips and nose he took after his mother.
  • "I know you will be busy but still I have something important to discuss with you"
  • "Okay then, am all ears"
  • "Not here son, let go inside" He led the way while Alexander followed him behind.
  • Alexander's eyes flicker with admiration and love as he watches some of the pack members that greeted him each throwing him a welcoming smile and he felt at home once again. Soon he will become their Alpha; this title shall be passed to him since he is the first heir of Alpha Sebastian, his father who will soon resign from the position of Alpha at this year's last moon festival.
  • "Son, I hope you are fully prepared to be the next Alpha of this great pack," his father said to him as they both sat down in a chair facing each other with a cup of coffee in their hands.
  • "I am always prepared for it, father, that was my mother's last dying wish to me." A tight smile slipped on his lips as he watched his father. He could sense some pain and regret in his eyes.
  • Regrets for letting his Luna go.
  • Alexander watched as his father adjusted his seat properly. He studied him and he could see his grip on the coffee cup tighten and his eyes twitch a little. This is what he does whenever he has something serious to say.
  • "Father I am all ears" Alex gave him a slight fake smile.
  • "For you to be able to gain the title of an Alpha officially you will need to find your mate."
  • "What!" Alexander almost yelled, his brow raised at his father. "We both know what happened to her many years ago. She is gone and probably dead by now."
  • "Since you don't have a mate then you need to get married you can't be the Alpha without a woman by your side."
  • "No dad, you can't tell me what to do. You can't force me into getting married when I just had a recent heartbreak"
  • "Well, I don't know how you are gonna do it, you just need to get a woman, or else Antonio will take your position as the next Alpha and be in charge of most of the family companies." His father breaks the shell and stands up from his seat.
  • "No father, you can't give him what belongs to me."
  • "Then get yourself a woman. You have to get married to secure the Alpha's position."
