Chapter 37 Heartbroken

• Annie nearly fell to the floor in her room with the results in her hands, touching her forehead which was burning up. She had already tucked Bernard in bed to avert his unending questions. She remembered leaving the office, she had developed nausea some few times in the recent days.
• She neglected it, but after she got off work, settled herself into her bed, then she felt the need to go see a doctor, then she met the greatest shock of her life. She trembled the moment the doctor declared she was already two weeks pregnant.
• In a dilemma, she wasn't so sure about what to do, picking her phone hoping to put a call through to him, then she dropped the phone. "It's late already, and he should be asleep." She said faintly with a sigh pulling the quilt over herself.
