Chapter 22 ~an addiction ~

• Kara dropped me off in front of my house. I got down and shot her a small smile before hurrying along.
• We didn't speak much on our way home. She seemed pretty much occupied with her own thought and leaving me to mine. I couldn't be more grateful for the peace and quiet.
• I pushed the front door open and made my way inside with careful steps, trying not to attract any form of attention to myself but I wasn't so lucky.
