• Teagan didn’t speak to me the entire ride back to the penthouse she’d forced us to stay in with her. I hadn’t anticipated getting in between two alphas who seemed to hate one another, but it hardly mattered to me. I knew exactly where Emoni was.
• Megan walked out looking upset. She scowled at me as I passed her in the hallway. I walked to the elevator under the watchful eye of Teagan’s guards, a little discomfited by their stares. Where was Greyson? Vlad grumbled a bit.
