Chapter 1 Kill Her Directly

• “Good girl, stop resisting and cooperate with me. You know the consequences of disobedience,” Rufus Stahl said, his face adorned with a smile, resembling a kindly Mid-rank.
• When Bloodshade was young, he did take on the responsibility of caring for the pups in the pack.
• “Get lost!” the she-wolf, covered in blood, roared in fury.
• “Oh, you're such a hot-tempered girl. It looks like you don't like my gentleness.” Rufus' smile faded as he turned to the warriors behind him. “Electrocute her!”
• “Ah!”
• This isolated island in the Southern Ocean, sparsely populated and peaceful, concealed a secret. Beneath the surface of this seemingly ordinary island lay a hidden underground laboratory unknown to the world, infamous for its inhuman experimentation.
• No one knew that the prime warrior of the Shadow Pack, Bloodshade, was being held captive within. Her fellow pack member, the universally respected Rufus of Mid-rank within the pack, was subjecting her to unimaginably brutal experiments.
• In the corner of the research laboratory, the indicator light flickered. Suddenly, the barely alive Bloodshade lifted her head. A chilling smile bloomed across her blood-soaked face.
• “Ah!” Ten minutes later, a piercing scream echoed from the control room. The operator was in distress. “Bloodshade's gone!”
• In the surveillance footage, within the research laboratory filled with potions and high-tech equipment, the she-wolf was nowhere to be found on the narrow single bed. All that was left were four blood-stained handcuffs, hanging eerily from each corner of the bed.
• The faces of everyone in the control room drastically changed as if they were facing a formidable enemy. All eyes were drawn to the screen.
• They were rapidly scanning through countless small surveillance screens, trying to locate the she-wolf. However, they found no trace of her.
• The sight of werewolf guards, who had somehow fallen in the corridor, threw them into utter chaos.
• “Immediately activate the defense system to search for Bloodshade. We can't let her escape, or else none of us will survive.”
• The system activated, and a massive blue projection appeared in mid-air, filled with dense data.
• “Quick, deploy Notix34 Fumes. Regardless of the losses, use any feasible measures to capture Bloodshade.”
• At his command, the seemingly impervious wall was suddenly adorned with a series of spray devices. They began to emit a toxic gas.
• Countless armed werewolves, clad in black and equipped with gas masks, cautiously advanced through the laboratory filled with toxic gas.
• In the smoke, the chilling sounds of necks being snapped resonated, sending shivers down their spines. The screams were swallowed before they could even escape.
• Hidden by the veil of smoke, bodies were piling up.
• “Notify Dr. Stahl and his team to enter the protected area immediately.”
• Suddenly, the sounds of electric currents could be heard.
• In the next moment, all the equipment was damaged. The control panel was scorched by electricity, igniting a shower of sparks. The instruments emitted a repugnant smell of burning, causing everyone to retreat in fear and distance themselves from the control panel.
• The surveillance screens were utterly destroyed, leaving the entire laboratory devoid of its most essential monitoring control. The alarms blared.
• Everyone was horrified.
• An urgent report was relayed through their communication devices. “All the doctors and researchers have been killed, and Dr. Stahl has disappeared.”
• “Dr. Stahl must have already met his end at the hands of the Bloodshade.”
• “Let's pull out. No one here can match up to Bloodshade. We've successfully extracted most of the genetic data. Grab the information and let's make our escape.”
• “Make your decision quickly before Bloodshade finds out.”
• The control room was in utter chaos. The Beta finally spoke up. “Evacuate immediately with all the data and prepare for detonation. The Alpha has just issued an order to kill Bloodshade directly after the successful gene extraction!”
• Just then, with a resounding boom, the metallic door of the control room was blasted open.
• The entire laboratory started shaking, and everyone was momentarily deafened by the blast. The explosion, a mix of fierce flames and metal fragments, sent them scurrying for cover in the control room, their hands instinctively covering their heads in fear.
• The main door had turned into a pile of ruins.
• Within the ruins, a slender figure emerged, treading through blood with an intimidating aura.
