• "What exactly are you up to?" Drake can still hear the morning version of Emily's voice in his ear. She looked at him with a questioning brow raised and inquired, "Why are you touching my round baby bump?"
• He welcomed her with "Good morning, stray..." but paid no attention to her question. "I just wanted to let you know that, effective now, I will be sleeping in your room." He broke the news to us in a casual manner.
• "What? She let out a shrill, "Why?! " "I have my room, and you have yours; I don't want to be in the same room as you!"
