• Riek's POV
• Before I could get my gown on my body, a heavy slap landed on my cheeks. I wince in pain, his palm is so strong. The fire burns heavily in me, right across my chest that I return it back more painful than the one he gave to me. I didn't regret my action after, I just feel like whatever is going to happen should just happen. I don't care! After all I'm his mate, let the whole world know the type of Alpha he is.
• "How dare you slap me, have you forgotten that I'm the Alpha?" He holds my ponytail so hard, grabbing my check firmly with his right hard, he kicks hard at me and I fall rolling on the floor. My throat chokes, tears of betrayals forming in my eyes. I wonder why I should feel betrayal for him even when I don't truly want to be with him, but on a contract. The mate bond is strong here, though he's my enemy, my wolf can't stop feeling betrayed and cheated on. I curl up on the floor in my underwear and pants, when another kick comes, this time around, hitting me hard on the stomach. I sense I'll throw up blood, I hold my tummy tight. I'm feeling weak, if I rise up to attack me, more injuries would be incurred. While I lie on the floor, Conri quickly dresses up. He picks up his phone, my heart freezes.
