Chapter 65

• “Alpha Arthur,” I try to push him away from me, but he holds me even tighter. “Please, stop it,” I plead with him.
• He pauses and gazes right at me, “You don’t want it? Then why were you just hovering around me?” Alpha Arthur let’s go. He softly breathes and walks toward the bed. “Don’t try to seduce me into it when you don’t want it.”
• I can hear the sadness that fills his voice as he utters. He throws his night robe on and takes a seat on the couch. Without taking a glance at me, Alpha Arthur picks up the tablet from the table, and gets busy with it.
