Chapter 177

The giggles of the girls and the other women who were around the food truck lingered in Jessica's mind. Xavier found it strange that she was so quiet during their ride back to their hotel room. She gave short answers that seemed like they were laced with annoyance but not quite so too.
When they pulled up to the front of the hotel she barged out of the car without waiting for the valet or Xavier to open the door for her. She walked straight to the elevator keeping a straight face. She was fuming but she knew the reason who not supposed to be a good one but it did not change her mind either way.
"Wait up" she heard Xavier call out to her as the door to the elevator closed shut. She watched as his face turned sad.
