Chapter 175 Welcoming

• Before dawn broke the next morning, I left for the People’s Hospital. First I went to visit Alex, and he was still bandaged, looking like a mummy. Evelyn was sleeping on the empty bed beside him, so I left them alone and went to Patrick’s ward.
• Through the glass of the ward, I could see him tossing and turning, and he was alone in the ward. Then I went inside. “I heard you have dextrocardia, so I’m here to finish the job.”
• He held his head and looked at me from the bed. “Make a cleaner job than you did last time. You didn’t even hurt me anywhere. This is just a wee hole.”
