• After arguing with Deanna, Harry looked like he wanted to throw himself off the balcony. She returned alone, her eyes holding back tears, walked straight to Daniel and with just a look, he understood.
• "We'll come back tomorrow if necessary. Goodbye, mom," he said firmly, placing his hand protectively on Deanna's back.
• They left. Deanna was clearly upset and distressed, and Daniel confirmed once again that her feelings for Harry were not the same as what his brother felt.
