Chapter 4 The Blood Moon

• 9pm
• We all stood outside the pack house .
• it was already late in the night and since a ritual was going everyone was expected to stay in their house .
• our White clothes were suddenly turning black from under and I knew that it was because we had been walking for a very long time .
• The outskirts of the pack were just some movement ago and I couldn't imagine what was going to happen next .
• "What's your name ?" the girl that was walking behind me asked and that was when I turned to see the girl. .
• She was a blonde girl and she looked so tired.
• "Freya ,what about you ?" I asked .
• "Emma,"She replied, smiling .
• "I just wanted to make a new friend before I die ,you know you look so beautiful and that was why I had forced my way to the front so that I could talk to you before dying "She replied smiling .
• "I held on to her hands softly and also smiled looking at her ,Emma you don't have to be scared that we are going to die , nobody is going to die and I would make sure of that "I replied .
• "Hey the both of you should keep quiet "One of the elders screamed at us and we both broke apart and turned to face him .
• We all stood still in the darkness with just the moonlight shining on us .
• "As you all know ,the moon goddess had chosen you girls for the ritual ,we had never wished for this to happen but then we have no choice than to obey ,this ritual had been going on in this pack for ages and we wouldn't want to change it and so am saying sorry to those that would miss their friends their families and there loved ones ,the ritual would be starting anytime soon and you girls should not run , those that would make it alive would be taken back to the pack when we returned by tomorrow and those that died we are grateful for that , Remember that you died to save your love ones and your pack, don't think that you are killed for nothing,you should know that you would always be Remembered"The elder said and the rest nodded .
• All of us stood still in a line and began to wait for what was going to happen next ,the men elders started leaving and the female elders walked forward. There were about twenty of them and before we could say jack they began to rip off everything from our body leaving us stark naked.
• I screamed and cried trying to break free from her trip but her girp was just so fucking tight.
• When they were done pulling the cloth and pants ,they began to rub some black substance on our body .
• I cried as I tried to break free ,I had never been this embarrassed in my entire life .
• Once they were done ,they made us enter a straight line and with that we started walking into the cave .
• my heart Kept beating in my chest as I thought of what would happen next .
• The female elders chained our hands and pulled us into the cave ,all of our hands were tied together as we walked in the cage.
• "Have time girls fighting for your lives ,we would be coming to take you girls that survived tomorrow"The leader said and before we could tell what was going to happen next the cave was immediately closed Making everywhere to be dark .
• A loud scream tore out of the girl's mouth as Everywhere suddenly became dark .
• I didn't scream or cry ,I was just scared and I felt the tension .
• I knew that the blood moon would be here soon so I needed to do something .
• "Why don't you all keep quiet ,while we think of a way to leave this cage "My voice came out loudly .
• I didn't know where I got such courage from but I love it .
• The whole girls suddenly became silent and that was when I brought the plan .
• I have a hammer with me here ,all we have to do is to break somewhere open and we would run away "I told them and they all seemed to accept .
• We all proceeded to move at once and with that I started hitting on the side of the cave ,i.just couldn't die now ,I had so many things to do and my life had just started .
• All the girls got to work as they began to hit the walls .
• The sound engulfed the whole cave but suddenly the blood moon came and it was as if it was inside the cave as Everywhere became red.
• I didn't know when I screamed along with the rest of the girls .
• I opened my eyes and everywhere was dark again and with that I continued hitting on the wall nervously,I was just so scared to even think about what was going to happen next ,I had a whole life waiting for me so I couldn't let anything to get rid of it or make anything to spoil my plans.
• I kept hitting on the wall with my soft hands ,I felt like my hands was going to fall off the next moment and I just couldn't help it ,I was feeling so much pains but then I couldn't bear it,i.had so many undone business and I don't have to die ,I wanted. to leave this place at all cost and that was exactly what I was going to do ,I don't want anything to ruin it .
• tears were pouring out of my eyes as I hit the wall nervously,I was just so scared it's just like I was so nervous of dying .
• I kept on hitting and that was when the blood moon came into the cave again giving us a different mark on our bodies .
