• Cassius was up to something. For the past week, he went out frequently without telling anyone and he had dark circles around his eyes the few times I saw him. As his supposed Luna, his sudden unannounced outings meant I had to fill in for him.
• “The Alpha is not here today?” Elder Mark asked.
• I was now sitting at the head of a meeting that Cassius had called but did not attend as he was out today again. Sylvia informed me when the Elders gathered with no head so I happily waltzed in.
