Chapter 5 We Will Be Fine

• Alpha Nathan was deeply engrossed in the file spread out before him, his brow furrowed in concentration, when his guard burst into the room with an air of urgency. The sudden interruption caused Nathan's eyes to narrow, his gaze still fixed on the papers in front of him.
• "Why did you rush in that way?" Nathan asked, his voice firm but measured, without looking up. "Is there a problem?"
• The guard hesitated, his eyes darting nervously around the room before responding, "Lady Rebecca ordered your new maid to be locked up in the dungeon, sir."
