• Kelvin's eyes gradually fluttered open to an unfamiliar scene. The first thing he registered was pain, a deep and throbbing pain radiating from the back of his head.
• Then, he immediately noticed the blinding white light above him, followed by the sterile scent of antiseptic. He heard soft beeping noises and distant voices. And then it hit him, he was in a hospital.
