Chapter 16 Antonio's Intentions

• Three minutes had passed since he dropped Eloise off after signing the contract, yet he still hadn't started the car, his grey eyes staring at nobody but the hospital in front of him. His mind fixated on the image of Eloise in his mind, and his observation about it being the second night in a row that she'd be passing the night at the hospital, not going home.
• He exhaled sharply and tilted his head back against the seat, eyes drifting away.
• “Not like I’m worried,” he muttered. “So why the hell am I still here?”
