• I sat still, closely watching every movement Keturah made. Up until now, Rose was yet to wake up, and it was all because of the blade that was used to slit her throat. It was apparently laced in a concentrated amount of rainos. My blood had healed her, but she was still unconscious and incapacitated, due to the effect of the damned spelled plant.
• The noise within the walls of the palace, had me a bit distracted. We had won the battle, but so many lives were lost. Our fallen soldiers included Beta Justin, Liam's father.
