Chapter 21

• Victor sprinted towards Ivy, his heart racing with worry. As he approached, Ivy turned towards him, the piece of broken bottle still clutched in her hand. Seeing Victor, she burst into tears, her body shaking with sobs.
• Victor's face contorted with concern. "Baby, are you hurt? What happened to you?" he asked, trying to gently pry the broken bottle from her hand.
• Ivy pointed towards the shopkeeper, her eyes accusing. Victor's gaze followed, and his expression darkened as he took in the scene. He glared at the shopkeeper, his death stare sending a shiver down the man's spine.
