Chapter 17

• After school on Thursday afternoon, Kelvin slipped inside his car, closed the door and looked at Alisha who was twiddling her hair. Kelvin has been noticing that she only does that whenever she is nervous.
• She was looking into space, and her bloody red lips were pouted childishly. Kelvin slowly put his right hand on her left hand, and that actually got her attention.
• She dropped her hair that she was twiddling, looked at his hand that was on hers for some seconds before looking into his eyes. She smiled, and he smiled back as he slowly caressed her hand.
