Chapter 21 Peaceful Day(?)

• "Jacob, are you being serious right now?" Ben asked, his voice restraining him from being rude to his friend. The others, including me, just looked at them as we all sensed the tension in the air. Lia was stopping me from holding back Carter as she defended the fact that we were at fault for wearing the shirt. Huh? What the hell? Why is it our fault?
• "Would you rather be naked in front of them, Lia?" I asked my wolf. I know being naked is normal for us, but either way, Carter would still be mad, so it is better to be clothed and scolded rather than he'd be angry at me for being naked. Though, honestly, both scenarios equally sucks so just pick your poison. She just answered that we should have asked for Carter's coat in the first place. I can't believe my own wolf is gaslighting me right now, but I do understand her sentiments. I hope my patience will last long though.
