• I decided that if Brian wanted me to go out and have my own friends, to have my own life, I would. After all, I was an adult now and I could spend time with my old friends and still be a faithful wife, right? I decided that I would call Misty. She and I had always been the best of friends and had done everything together. We still talked on occasion and I always called on her birthday and she always called me on mine. She was always telling me how much everyone still missed me, and that they couldn't wait for me to come back and be the party queen that I once had been.
• Later that day, around 2 o'clock on Friday, I called Misty to tell her what was going on and that she was right that I needed to have a life. She was over the moon at the fact that I called, that I was finally ready to go and do something, anything that wasn't just sitting around my house all day. Always waiting to see if there was anything that I could do for Brian. Misty told me that I couldn't have possibly called on a better day. That she had a plus one invitation to a special party and to make sure that I got to her house by 5 o'clock. We could do our makeup together to get ready for this extravagant event. She told me to make sure that I dressed sexy.
