• I was fine but as soon as she stood up in front of me , realization immediately hit me up like a wrecking ball and recalled that l spent the whole night with his brother . Guilt instantly flowed down my entire body and l dropped my head down refusing to make eye contact with her .
• With my head lowered down , l felt a hand run along my knee and gave it a little squeeze . I raised up my head but only saw him deep in conversation with his friends . Thou he was chatting happily , he still ran his hand over my knee , letting me know that he was with me and with that l relaxed and finally looked up at Xenia.
• “ Damn girl how much did you blooming drink last night ? “ , I pretended like l was fine and started up a conversation . “ Oh ! My goodness “ , she scrunched up her nose at the mention of alcohol . “ Too much , l don’t even remember how l got to the bed “ , she added while resting her chin in her hands .
