Chapter 6

• " Mother." I mutter rubbing the back of my neck awkwardly.
• " In the throne room right now Ace. And all of you should be in your respective rooms." She says glaring at everyone.
• " Okay." I say. She nods walking down not before giving a death glare to my kitten.
• " Let's go now." Nion says hitting Zayan's head.
• " But we like it here with Aria." Ariana pouts.
• " We'll come back some other time." Nion says waving at Aria.
• They all leave after a little drama of saying goodbye to my kitten. She looks up at me and gives me a wide grin.
• " I'll be right back." I whisper kissing her little nose.
• Walking to the throne room , all sorts of wild and crazy ideas kept running in my mind. Did mother dislike my kitten ? Did Jane and Jane badmouthed about her to mother ? No , that's not possible. Everyone knows it's worse than death to lie to the queen.
• " Come in." she says as I knock on the door.
• She was sitting on her throne with a blank face , her head held up high and her lips turned in arrogance.
• " May I know why am I called here my queen ?" I ask in a soft voice.
• " I'd like to talk about your new pet Ace. Pets in our world here are treated as equal to animals. We feed them and treat them however we want. They are there for our entertainment. You know that , do you ?" she raises an eyebrow.
• Oooooh damn. I dont like where this is heading to and who she is mainly talking about.
• " Yes queen." I mutter.
• " But no one has ever created problems in their own family just because of a pet. Why did you fight with Enzo ? He is your elder brother , Ace. I saw everything and I also heard your pathetic love confession for the filth." she growls angrily.
• " I do love her queen. She makes me feel things Jane doesn't and she is my mate. Moon goddess also wants me to be with her." I say with pleading eyes.
• " You think moon goddess makes the best decisions ? Let me tell you something about myself Ace. Your father and Enzo know of this and being my second son , you know need to know this." she says signaling me to sit down beside her.
• " When I found my mate , I was thrilled and excited just like you are today. Madly in love and ready to fight the world for it but only a few years were needed to open my eyes and see the reality. Love was thrown out of the window when reality slapped me hard. It isnt always love , sometimes it's the enthusiasm to try it and everyone knows that enthusiasm dies with times. " she sighs placing her hand on my head and caressing my hair softly.
• " He was a monster. His acts chilled my bones each time. One night , he gave me off to his friends after he lost some kind of bet with them. That night after getting r*ped by five men , I ran. I didn't care to stay for my mate bond because I knew it was all bullshit. That's how your father found me." she mumbles as a tear rolls down my cheek.
• " You know Ace , I loved my mate alot but see what it got me in return." she sighs.
• " I promise I wont ever be like that monster mom but Aria isn't like that too. She is innocent , just take a look into her eyes and you'll know." I plead.
• " She is Kline's daughter." she says as her face hEnzons again.
• My breathe hitches , my body breaks into a cold sweat as I feel my throat burning dry.
• " Wha-what ?" I whisper wiping my sweating forehead.
• " She is Kline's daughter. Alpha Kline , that man who took something really valuable from us. That man who took the most valuable thing from you Ace. She is that Kline's blood , his heir , that Kline's who ruined our lives." she says angrily.
• " But I found her in the pet shop." I whisper feeling a lump in my throat.
• " She was kidnapped from her pack and got here , no one knew who she really is. After seeing her at the dining table and her similarities which matched him , we contacted him and my son , he did say that he was looking for his daughter from so many years." she mutters as I my fill with tears.
• " No mumma no. Please no god." I sob pulling my hair.
• This can't happen. My kitten can't be his daughter. She can't be that monster's daughter. How am I going to look at her again after knowing whose features she has inherited ? How am I going to hug her after knowing whose blood runs into her veins ?
• " It all depends on you Ace. You can do whatever you want to now. You have three options. Firstly , give her back to that Kline. He is looking for her like a mad man. Second , tell him you have her and barter her with him instead of his pack and power to destroy him. Thirdly , destroy her just like he destroyed our lives." she growls.
• " I-I mom." I stutter taking deep breaths to calm myself down.
• " I would choose option three if I was you."
• I turn around to see Aunt Maria standing there. She walks up to me and caresses my cheek.
• " Choose option three and make his daughter pay for what he did and then choose option two and take his power and position from him. You'll be killing two snakes from one stick." she smirks.
• " Aria." I whisper biting my lips hard.
• " Oh come on son , she was a pet anyway. She was destined to die just like you killed your other pets but this one will die a different death , a slow and painful one." Aunt says looking at me encouragingly.
• " I-I dont know." I whisper.
• " I'm not f*rcing you Ace but it all depends on how much you hate that bastard Kline." Mother says as aunt nods at her.
• " Dont do it."
• " Ace save me."
• " Stay away or I'll shoot."
• " No please."
• " I'm serious. I'll shoot."
• " Don't please."
• " Ace."
• BOOM !
• " Nooo." I gasp as tears spill from my eyes.
• " Ace calm down son." mom whisper as I hide my face in her chest like a little boy.
• " H-he killed..." I trail crying loudly.
• " I'll get justice. I'll punish that Kline." I say wiping my tears as mom nods.
• " Let's begin with the thing he loves the most , his daughter. Since he tricked you to use what you loved the most , you should do the same to him." Aunt says patting my shoulder.
• " He loves Aria alot ?" I ask wiping my tears.
• " Not really sure but he did sound like he was crying when I called him. Every father loves his daughter Ace." Mom says softly.
• " Then arrange for the ball for my engagement with Jane and don't forget to call Kline and his pack , I have a surprise just for them." I wipe my tears with an intention to make him pay.
• " What's your plan , Ace ?" mom asks with a concerned look.
• " Dont worry mom. I'm going for hunting , I'll be back in three or four days." I mutter standing up and wiping my face.
• " Your engagement is in five days , Ace." Aunt says.
• " I know , I just cant tolerate that Kline's blood till my engagement." I mutter walking out of the throne room.
• Instead of going to my room , I go straight to my car and get in driving out of the kingdom grounds. I know my camping supplies would he delivered later but right now , I needed to blow off this steam.
• I hate everything related to Kline. That includes my kitt- I mean Aria too.
