Chapter 36 She is my girl

  • Chapter 36
  • She is my girl
  • Fanny locked hands with Opula as they walked out of the hotel room and entered the elevator. He stared at her lustfully in the elevator and Opula noticed it but kept to herself. He stole a glance at her bust that pressed onto her blouse so ruggedly that layers of gold at that region seemed to be falling out soon. He hadn’t noticed her dashing figure until now; and he wondered if the gold dress was responsible for it or his eyes. He had had heavy wine and smoked a few sticks of cigar while in his hotel room, and nothing was there for him to do than thinking about making love to Opula. At the time he had fancied her courage and integrity, but argued if Opula believed he was in love with her. He had seen the confusion and indecisiveness in her eyes, and her body movement had warned him not to touch her- maybe now but not ever. He guessed she was still taking her time to know him better before allowing him into her life. He had better plans for her and hoped she wouldn’t play the folly like many girls that he had fallen for did. He had history of girls who came into his life only to steal from him and suck a crunch of his wealth. He could count countless of girls that wanted to walk him down the aisle only with the intention of filing for divorce later and getting half of his wealth as alimony. At the moment he saw Opula as one of them and endeavored to play safe.
