Chapter 5 The Demon Who Saved Me
- I tried to recall where I met him. But his attention wasn't on me now. He was gazing at Monster Yelena with his cold and dark eyes.
- "Get lost."
- He emitted a wave of cold air as he said those two words. Monster Yelena screamed and fled the dorm in panic.
- Only me and the horned man were left in the dorm.
- Seeing that I was still staring at him, he lowered his eyes slightly and smiled. His cold expression turned playful.
- "My dear bride, after staring at me for so long, do you find your groom pleasing?"
- I couldn't help but tremble at his words.
- What nonsense is he talking about?
- Then, I realized that I was still in his arms.
- I quickly broke free and backed away, watching him warily.
- I couldn't believe my eyes.
- Under the dim light, the man floated in midair. He had large black wings and a long, forked tail. His blood-red eyes made him look like a demon from hell!
- This man was a demon!
- I stepped back cautiously and asked, "What are you?"
- The demon's playful expression turned cold upon hearing my question.
- He flew towards me, grabbing my chin.
- "What am I?" He smirked. "I'm your demon husband."
- "Samantha, don't you recognize your husband?" His voice was pleasant but cold.
- I broke into a cold sweat.
- "You ... you've got the wrong person! I can't be your bride!"
- I struggled as he pushed me back until I fell onto the bed.
- I tried to get up, but he leaned over, trapping me with his arms.
- His hair brushed against my ears, tickling me. His handsome face was inches from mine.
- "I got the wrong person?" The demon sneered. "Then who was it that married me yesterday and slept with me yesterday?"
- "I'm still a virgin—" I protested, blushing with shame.
- Before I could finish my words, the demon tapped my forehead with a finger, and the steamy scenes from yesterday night flashed in my mind.
- Those tingling sensations as our sweaty bodies entangled … All came back to me.
- My mind was flooded by the memories of my crazy encounter.
- It was his last night!
- "Remember now?" The demon's voice echoed in my ear.
- I snapped back to reality.
- "Last night … it wasn't a dream … it was real?" I gasped.
- The demon smirked. "Seems like your memory is no longer confused."
- I turned pale due to the shock.
- No wonder I felt sore this morning like I had fought a fierce battle.
- It turned out, I really did have a wild night, with a terrifying demon.
- Seeing my distraught look, the demon frowned and gripped my chin tighter, forcing me to look at him.
- "Samantha, what's with that look? Aren't you happy to be my bride?" I could feel his cold breath on my face.
- How could he mention the word "happy"?
- This terrifying demon took my virginity meant for my soulmate, and I'm supposed to be happy?
- "What? Do you think I'd be happy being assaulted by a demon?" I retorted coldly.
- Maybe my words were too harsh. I noticed a flash of anger in the demon's eyes.
- The grip on my chin tightened.
- I winced in pain but still glared at the demon.
- Our faces were so close that I could see my reflection in his eyes.
- "Do you know how many females in this world beg for my touch?"
