• I pulled my trunk open, staring down at a struggling Lucia. I found it slightly amusing that she thought she could escape the binds I had her in. Men twice her size hadn’t been able to, but to each their own. If she thought she could escape, then that was foolish on her part.
• I tossed her over my shoulder, slamming my trunk shut. I locked my car doors before heading for the front door. Vlad could use a new roomie. Really, it was like killing two birds with one stone. I could just alternate between who I tortured when I felt like it.
