Chapter 10 Not At All

• Ace, let's go instantly and we both sit down
• Each on either side of him. He clears his throat before speaking.
• " We didn't go see any company. We paid Jason a visit and shit went down, we beat his ass and that’s how we have these,” he says showing his hands, I rub them
• “That’s all I wanted to know. I can’t have you guys getting in trouble. You guys are the only family I have,” I say, breaking down. Clay puts me in his lap, holding me while I sob.

• " It's noon. I woke you up to have something to eat. You can go back to bed after if you want. " I get up from the bed and use the toilet before washing my face.
• When I stepped out of the bathroom, Clay was there holding a plate in his hands. He handed it to me and I started eating and enjoying it. " thanks Sir " he smiles and leaves coming back with orange juice
• After I was done eating, he carried everything to the kitchen before coming back.

• "If I believe you, you guys can't just go around beating up every guy who does shit to me, y'all don't like, did you know worried, scared, how hard it was when you guys got locked up for beating up that waiter? ," They beat up a waiter because they thought he was touching me inappropriately. When all he was doing was helping me get food from my dress.
• They spent 3 months in jail while the guy was admitted to the hospital. I can only imagine what they did to Jason given he did way worse than that guy.

• He wipes the tears that slipped from my eyes. " Come on now cheer up, do you want ice cream? You know what? Let me take you to get some ice cream,"
• He gets up and enters my closet, coming out with a black oversized sweatshirt, with a blue butterfly print on it along with some blue Demonia boots which match with the sweatshirt.
• " change, I'll go change, and Ace, it wants to come ". As soon as he leaves. I start changing. He knows exactly what I like. After changing, I start doing my makeup. I combed my lashes, neaten my brows, and added some lip gloss. I straightened my hair, slipped some lotion on and some perfume, and was ready to go.
• I grabbed my handbag and left my room. I went to Clay's room to see if he was ready yet. But he wasn't. I heard a pipe running.
• I grabbed his phone from his bed and started scrolling photos. I miss my phone so much. Most of the pictures in it were from us.
• I was surprised when the bathroom door and they both came. " You guys still shower together? " I ask raising an eyebrow
• " why not?" Ace says, heading off to his room while Clay walks into his closet. Now I'm fully convinced that they're together. It must have happened recently, like a month or two ago. They were always close but. This type of close is different. I even saw them kissing at the party we went to. I know Ace is bisexual. If you're wondering, I'm bi too, as far as Clay. • Why did I feel bad upon hearing that I wouldn't be punished? Apart from me, I didn't want it, while another part of me was hoping that I would, excited about what they would do next.
