- Sandra swiftly sat up and cautiously scooted away from the stranger as he settled right next to her. The burly man was getting too close for comfort. "Oh, um, of course..." she politely said. As much as she didn't want to converse with this man, she didn't want to appear rude, she disliked having conflict. And even though she caught onto his flirtatious behavior toward her, he did sound like he was a genuine older gentleman. Men like him can be quite playful, especially when talking with young women, Sandra figured.
- "So where are you from, Sandra? I've never seen a woman as beautiful as you visit our town before?" Sandra hastily searched for her husband only to find him nowhere to be found. His relatives were also missing. Had they left her?
- "Vhere did he go??" Sandra urgently thought to herself. She quickly glanced at her phone to see if Lucas shot her a text about his whereabouts. Nothing. And his phone was out of sight too, so that meant he must have stopped by. Why didn't he have the decency to at least inform her? It made Sandra a bit frustrated again. Even though she would get too ticked off at Lucas' inconsideration, the nefarious situation she found herself in prompted a spark of resentment toward him.
