Chapter 14

• When Oliver had come home, he'd finally decide to tell me about the celebration, I didn't mention the fact that I already knew. I wore a long red mermaid dress; thin straps, slit up to my mid-thigh and strapped sandal heels. It showed off a good amount of cleavage and hugged my body in all the right places.
• Oliver wore blue casual pants and a blue and white stripped button shirt with dark leather shoes. His hair was slicked back as it usually was, and I left my hair in its natural curls since I was being lazy. He didn't like my hair choice, but we had to leave if we wanted to arrive on time, so I didn't change it.
• When we arrived, he held my hand to show people we were here together. I was tired as hell, but I still wanted to be a decent wife and show up for him. "Athena. Still as lovely as I remember." He, Albert, took my hand and kissed it.
