Chapter 14 Unforeseen
- "I can't believe we actually made it," Avery whispers to me as we enter the class at exactly 9:00 am. "I almost regretted doing the whole marathon thing."
- "Really?" I raise an eyebrow, finding it hard to believe.
- "Keyword 'almost,'" she smirks, fully aware she'd do it all over again given the chance.
