Chapter 34 Consequences

• Santiago junior wondered, noting his old friend watching him closely. Apparently over time he'd just resigned himself to Eva. If he'd married Susan as planned, he would have insisted on at least five children. But with cold, calculating Eva... He shook his head, settling back into his seat and draining his water glass before attempting to speak. Dr Alfonso didn't rush him, waiting patiently instead.
