Chapter 5

  • HAPPY READING
  • ***
  • Mili felt King's hand touching her. It was like an electric current running through her. She couldn't do much about it. She didn't know what was going through her mind, but now she found herself in King's embrace. The perfume King was wearing made it difficult for her to think clearly. Such an expensive scent could only be worn by a man of quality.
  • "What..." Mili swallowed her saliva. She looked at King's face up close like this. His jawline was sharp and his shoulders were broad.
  • "I want to go home," King murmured. He caressed Mili's back and gently kissed her.
  • King held Mili's fingers. Because there are more than 40,000 peripheral nerves in the palm. By touching them, it can make the brain's nerves work faster and increase arousal. King kissed the back of her hand. Meanwhile, Mili tried her best not to be carried away. Unfortunately, she wanted to resist, but King had already cornered her against the wall.
  • King passionately kissed Mili's thin lips without giving her a chance to think. He was a normal man and hadn't done this in a long time. Maybe he was one of those jerks who did this to women he just met. Don't blame him if he wanted more than just a kiss.
  • King showered her with passionate kisses. Maybe he thought there would be no tomorrow. He waited for Mili to slap him across the face. But the slap never came. Finally, he slowed down the pace of his kisses and caresses. Unbeknownst to Mili, she let out a sigh of relief. Oh god. It turned out Mili wanted it too. He held onto Mili's shoulder. And slowly, his hand began to explore the nape of her neck to be able to kiss her more deeply.
  • King released his kiss. Trying to control his difficult breathing. He looked at Mili doing the same thing. King's gaze shifted to Mili's slender neck. He began to kiss her neck slowly. After a few seconds, his phone vibrated in his pants pocket. Damn. The sound wouldn't stop. He looked at the phone screen. It was from a ride-hailing service. He cursed inwardly. How could someone disturb his pleasure like this?
  • "Sorry. I think I have to take this call," King said hoarsely.
  • Mili just stayed silent and looked at King. She quickly straightened her clothes. She was grateful to the ride-hailing service that had saved her. She saw King take a deep breath. He slid the green button on the screen.
  • "Yes, sweetheart."
  • "King's girlfriend? I'm already in front."
  • "I'll be there in a moment." King slid the red button. He put his phone back in his pants pocket.
  • King looked at Mili. The woman's face was blushing. Her hair, which was tied up earlier, was now loose and slightly messy. King seemed reluctant to leave Mili. He smiled and caressed her cheek. Then he whispered.
  • "You are my girlfriend and you are mine."

  • "Damn it!" Mili cursed. She wished she were dead. She hugged a pillow to vent her frustration.
  • How dare he claim that she was his girlfriend just because they kissed? Honestly, she didn't know King at all. He couldn't just act like this. She thought she was some cheap girl who would be with anyone. Huh! Don't expect King to judge her like that.
  • Mili didn't want King to be unfair like this. She needed legal recourse for King's actions. King had acted indecently towards her. She imagined what if King was a psychopath. Oh no. She couldn't imagine her life after this.
  • "This is ridiculous!"
  • "Oh god. I'm the girlfriend of a perverted doctor. Someone who has no self-awareness. Just claiming to be her boyfriend?"
  • The process of dating takes a long time, even months. At least they should get to know each other. The happy stage is the initial step to start a relationship. And then comes the process of falling in love. After that, they get to know each other's personalities. Then they both learn to become perfect. But it's not like this. She only just met King a few hours ago.
  • Mili quickly glanced at her phone screen. There were several messages. It turned out to be from that crazy doctor.
  • "Boyfriend."
  • "I've arrived home. You rest. Tomorrow I'll pick you up at 5 pm for the reunion event."
  • "Noted. Don't run away."
  • Mili almost gasped when she heard the words "Don't run away." It seemed like King knew what was on her mind. The first thing she thought about was actually running away from that man. Mili looked at her phone screen.
  • "Niar calling."
  • Mili took a deep breath. She sat on the edge of the bed. She controlled her emotions. Then she slid the green button on the screen. She placed the phone on her left ear. Mili was sure her cousin wanted to know who she brought to her engagement event earlier.
  • "Yes, Niar." Mili looked towards the balcony of her room. She took a tissue and wiped her lips. Her lips felt numb from King's kisses a few minutes ago.
  • "Oh my god! Your boyfriend is a doctor?"
  • "Acting like you know everything."
  • "Your mom said so. That's your boyfriend! Crazy cool. An internist? Where? Why didn't you ever tell me? You got a cool guy. And a doctor too!"
  • Mili smiled hearing Niar's series of questions. There was a sense of pride when Niar found out that she had a cool doctor boyfriend like King. Usually, Niar always boasted about her own boyfriend. That she was always superior. Compared to her.
  • "In Germany."
  • "Oh my god! Really in Germany!"
  • "Yes."
  • "Why didn't you ever tell me?" Niar became more curious.
  • "Well, I just don't like showing off. I'm different. Not like you!" Mili replied and chuckled.
  • "When are you going to join me?"
  • Mili took a deep breath. She lay down on the bed. "I don't want to rush. Let's just date for now." Mili smirked.
  • "But your mom really wants you to get married. Have children." Niar added. It seemed like that woman was pressuring her to get married soon.
  • This kind of response was what she disliked the most. Treating marriage as an achievement. A goal and a guarantee of life. She was one of the lucky women who hadn't gotten married yet. Because she wasn't ready. She had to think a thousand times about which partner she should choose as her life companion. Honestly, she didn't understand why many young people dared to take the action of getting married. Especially when they had only been dating for a month. Not to mention that their financial situation was not good enough and their savings were just enough. She shuddered at the stories of young people who dared to get married at such a young age. It was like seeing someone jump into a pit. They were crazy and reckless in her opinion. Many of her friends out there regretted getting married so early. Because after getting married, they felt trapped at home and devoted themselves to their families. In her opinion, marriage was not a competition.
