Chapter 1

  • Amidst the vast expanse of the Million Stars Mountain Range, the majestic Star Valley Heavenly Peak, adorned in shades of blue and purple, pierced the clouds above.
  • Nestled within the mountain peak, ancient trees and jagged rocks coexisted, while dense spiritual energy permeated the air like an undissipated white mist. A towering mountain gate, dozens of feet high, was meticulously carved from giant black crystal stones, astonishing all who laid eyes upon it.
  • Beneath the gate, a despondent young man dressed in simple clothing and carrying a walking bag turned his back on the long, steep staircase that descended the mountain. Scattered before him, young men and women donned uniform black and white robes.
  • In the distance, grand halls and towering structures dotted the landscape.
  • "What are you looking at?"
  • "Tim, the sect's decree is clear; you're no longer welcome here!"
  • "You had so much potential. How could you let your dantian shatter? Hahaha!"
  • "Address him as Elder Tim!"
  • "With a shattered dantian, you're no longer our equal. You still want to stay in the sect? Delusional!"
  • "What? Still not leaving? Waiting for your friends to send you off?"
  • "Forget it. Only those of us with 'friendships' like these even bother to see you off!"
  • Each jeering remark was akin to a knife plunging into Tim's heart.
  • 'Curse it all!'
  • 'Had my dantian not shattered, I could have reached the Mysterious Platform, even the Heavenly Origin realm!'
  • 'But now, without my cultivation qualifications, even insignificant nobodies dare to insult me!'
  • 'And not one of my so-called close friends has come to see me off.'
  • '...'
  • Tim's teeth were gritted, his fists clenched tightly, and his knuckles turned white as his unassuming nails dug painfully into his flesh.
  • The Immortal Martial Dao was divided into multiple realms: Physical Body, Elemental Movement, Soul Refining, Spiritual Awakening, Mysterious platform, and Heavenly Origin. Achieving the Heavenly Origin realm signified the pinnacle of combat prowess on this continent.
  • Tim's future should have been filled with promise, but now...
  • Observing Tim's clenched fists, the disciples who bore grudges against him revelled in his misery.
  • At that moment, a contemptuous "Humph!" broke the silence.
  • "Who says we're not coming to see Tim off?"
  • Two figures leaped from a distance, landing gracefully on the ground.
  • "Elder Clement! Elder Adron!"
  • Tim's eyes lit up with joy as he recognized the newcomers, his fists unclenching.
  • "It's Lee Clement and Adron Wang!"
  • The disciples who had taunted Tim earlier furrowed their brows, glancing behind them.
  • Not far away, beneath a blossoming tree, a young man sat with his eyes closed.
  • 'Why hasn't Elder Bowen come to Tim?'
  • 'Could it be that Elder Bowen anticipated someone would come to Tim's aid, and that's why he hasn't acted yet?'
  • They exchanged glances, doubt clouding their minds.
  • In the past, Tim's exceptional talent and bright future had inadvertently offended Elder Bowen, a cultivator of a much higher level.
  • Simultaneously,Adron and Clement noticed Bowen's presence. Their hearts clenched and their expressions grew sombre.
  • Unknown to them, however, this Bowen was no longer the person they once knew.
  • [Host: Bowen
  • Aptitude: Upper Grade
  • Innate Talent: None
  • Realm: Early-stage Spiritual Awakening
  • True Battle Power: Middle-stage Spiritual Awakening
  • Cultivation Methods: Star Vally Heavenly Scripture, Dark Water Sword Technique, Mantis Claw Technique, Cobra Power...
  • Villain Value: 0
  • Blue Heavenly Fate Value: 0
  • Heaven-Defying Fate Changer: Empty
  • System Mall: Not Opened Yet]
  • 'Is this my panel?'
  • 'Is this my system?'
  • 'Villain Value! Blue Heavenly Fate!?'
  • Bowen sat on the stone bench, perplexed, as he examined the information panel visible only to him.
  • The Immortal Great Villain System revealed that he had become a villainous character, one destined to suffer the protagonist's wrath and ultimately lose his life.
  • 'A villain!?'
  • 'Have I truly transmigrated into a villain fated for misery?'
  • 'I don't know what kind of demise awaits me, but it must be wretched! No, no, no, this can't be! My fate must be in my own hands!'
  • 'As a villain, the best way to survive is to find opportunities alongside the protagonist. But who is the protagonist?'
  • 'Wait a moment, could it be that Tim, the outcast being expelled from the mountain, is the protagonist?
  • Bowen's eyes snapped open, and he glared fiercely at Tim standing beneath the mountain gate, cursing inwardly, 'Damn it, how could he be the protagonist?!'
  • 'It's happening! Elder Bowen is making a move!'
  • 'Elder Bowen's gaze is fierce. He definitely won't let Tim off easily!'
  • 'Hahaha,Tim is in for it now!'
  • '...'
  • Several disciples who had been watching Bowen noticed his glare, and their minds raced with speculation.
  • 'Bowen!'
  • 'He tormented me without reason before.'
  • 'Now that my dantian is shattered, he still won't leave me be. How petty and malicious!'
  • After casting a glance at Bowen, a surge of resentment welled up in Tim's heart. He lowered his head, turned, and walked to join Adron and Clement.
  • 'This situation feels all too familiar!'
  • 'Once Tim descends the mountain, he'll undoubtedly encounter some great opportunity to become stronger and return for his revenge!'
  • 'He will surely investigate the truth behind his shattered dantian. He might spare others, but he will never forgive me!'
  • 'What should I do?!'
  • A flurry of thoughts raced through Bowen's mind, causing his brow to furrow.
  • "Look quickly, Elder Bowen is frowning!"
  • "Hmph, it seems Tim is in for a world of pain!"
  • "When Elder Bowen takes action, Tim will undoubtedly suffer! Hahahaha!"
  • "Yes, Elder Bowen must be contemplating how to deal with Tim right now!"
  • "..."
  • The disciples whispered among themselves and sneered at Tim, oblivious to the fact that he was, in reality, feeling overwhelmed.
  • 'First, I need to analyze my new surroundings and sort things out.'
  • Bowen frowned as he started to sift through the vast amount of information in his head and organise his thoughts.
  • First and foremost, this story took place in an immensely vast Immortal Martial World.
  • The Star Valley Sect was situated on the Mysterious Truth Continent within the Immortal Martial World. It was a major power that dominated one side and controlled dozens of martial cities.
  • This body, also named Bowen, was one of the core disciples of the Star Valley Sect. Additionally, he was the eldest young master of the Bowen, one of the two major powers in the nearby Enormous Spring City.
  • As for Tim, he was an orphan with exceptional natural talent and striking good looks. After being brought into the sect, Tim demonstrated extraordinary cultivation speed. He was soon promoted to an inner disciple and began to make his mark on true disciple status.
  • Thanks to his impressive qualifications, handsome appearance, and eloquence, Tim garnered the support of many within the sect. Numerous female disciples fell for him, and even some of the older generation held him in high regard.
  • As a core disciple, the predecessor felt threatened by Tim's potential rise to prominence and decided to take preventive measures. He devised a scheme in which Tim would obtain a defective pill. Upon consuming it, Tim's dantian shattered, ultimately severing his cultivation path.
  • And so, the plan worked to perfection.
  • Tim's life took a nosedive, plummeting from the peak of popularity to being scorned by everyone around him.
  • Naturally, someone unable to cultivate had no place on the mountain.
  • And so, the day had come—right at this very moment, Tim was to be expelled from the mountain and left to survive on his own.
  • 'Originally, Tim had only cultivated in the Soul Refining realm, which was one significant realm below me.'
  • 'Now, with a shattered dantian and only the strength of his physical body, he wouldn't even be able to defeat someone in the Elemental Movement realm. He could only pick on those in the ordinary Physical Body realm.'
  • 'Perhaps... I should nip this potential threat in the bud!'
  • With that thought in mind, a glint of ruthlessness flashed across Bowen's eyes.
