• For the first time in what felt like forever, I'd slept peacefully through the entire night. Completely rested, totally at ease, with nothing disturbing my mood or pulling me from dreams. No nightmares about burning buildings or dead pack members, no annoying requests from pack business that couldn't wait until morning, nothing but the simple pleasure of sleeping in warm, loving arms surrounded by the intoxicating scent that made everything else fade away.
