- The faint whispers from unfamiliar people woke me from sleep. Dave sat at the edge of the bed, fully dressed, while someone I assumed to be a maid dropped a tray full of fruits and food on the table beside the bed.
- The maid bowed slightly to him and turned towards me, bowing before making her way out of the room. The signature greeting from the servant gave him a glimpse that I was awake.
