Chapter 2158 The Curse
- Duane seemed tired, shifting to a more comfortable position before continuing his tale. “It seemed as though the heavens were moved by Godwin's determination, punishing the envoy in response. However, the envoy did not perish. Instead, he placed the blame for all his sins on the people of the Snow Clan. And so, he harnessed the energies of heaven and earth and cast a curse upon the Snow Clan. The curse was such that the Snow Clan could never advance to the Heavenly Spirit Stage, could not fly, and most importantly, could never leave Glacial Land. Moreover, he demanded that we double our offerings. Otherwise, he would extinguish our Snow Clan. This only made life increasingly difficult for the already struggling Snow Clan. Eventually, the king of the Netherworld appeared and engaged in a fierce battle with the envoy. In the end, they both suffered devastating losses.”
