- At first, they were hesitant. They told me that fighting was dangerous and that they were there to protect me. But I was determined, I made it a point to ask them very minute. I wanted to be able to stand on my own two feet and not be a burden to anyone else. They eventually relented and agreed to teach me everything they knew.
