• Jenny’s POV
• The sun was setting, casting a warm, golden glow over the park as Jacob and I strolled hand in hand down the winding path. It was one of those perfect evenings where everything felt like it had slowed down just for us. For the first time in what felt like forever, there wasn’t a crisis or drama hanging over our heads—just the two of us, out on a simple date.
• It almost felt normal…as normal as it could get since I had just gotten turned into a vampire. The thought still hurt me and left a bitter taste in my mouth, but I guess Jacob knew that and that was why he suggested we went out together this evening.
