Chapter 10 An Invite

• Why was the time damn slow? Shouldn’t it be time for lunch? I wondered, my eyes catching the square clock that has been hanging in our class, since forever.
• “You shouldn't have bothered coming to school today if you were going to be this distracted.” Naomi whispered as she brought her head and book close to me like she was showing me something. The professor was looking at us.
• I shrugged at her question, not knowing what to say. She was right. But what she didn't know was that I had come to school to catch a glimpse of Adam for the last time.
