• The fury I was keeping in check to slay Gabriel dissolved when I saw Irene's clothes that was stained with blood. I couldn't blame her for killing him the way he treated her was to be blamed. I made sure Gabriel's head was separated from his body so there would be no chance of survival, although I didn't get the satisfaction of watching him suffer but the fact that he was no more and he posed no threat to my family anymore was enough assurance.
