- There was a hint of abhorrence in Clara's eyes. "I haven't gotten off work yet. You coming here will disturb my work."
- "I've checked, and you have no surgery scheduled this afternoon. Me being here would not affect you at all." He stood up and brushed her hair to the side of her face.
