• When I was younger, I used to think if I could live forever I would be able to learn everything there was to learn about life; all its secrets, gems, and hidden wisdom. I would be able to control my emotions at all times and nothing would ever come as a surprise to me.
• Now, I was twenty-four years old but I knew that no one could say life couldn't shove surprises in their face unless that person didn't know anything about life in the first place.
