• By the time I stepped out of the men’s restroom, it felt like the world had changed. Everything outside was still the same, with crowds bustling, cameras flashing, and voices rising. But inside me, everything felt too loud, too sharp, like my heart had been rattling against my ribs for hours.
• Keeping my head down, I weaved through the crowd, ignoring the bright lights and the hum of voices buzzing around me. I didn’t even care who saw me anymore. All I wanted was to get out of here.
