- Crescent Hall stood like something carved out of myth—an old-world mansion reimagined in steel and stone, its grand entry wrapped in ivy and snow-dusted columns. Slate shingles glittered in the fading afternoon sun, and a large glass awning arched over the drive, shielding the curved front steps.
