• All over the camp, voices greeting me echoed in the warm evening air. The soldiers bowed as I walked past, their eyes lingering on me with awe and I couldn’t help but notice the mixed expressions on the faces of those around me. Some were welcoming, others curious, and still others… cautious.
• As I glanced up at Kael's expression, I caught a glimpse of a flash of jealousy in his eyes as he looked at the soldiers.
