Chapter 8

  • The coffin made a dull sound as it scraped against the ground. The monster took slow, deliberate steps towards the door, waving his hand and unleashing a shockwave that crashed into it, causing the heavy doors to slam onto the ground.
  • On the side of the Ding family, a middle-aged man with a large head and prominent ears stood up and coldly declared, "Who dares to play tricks! Capture him!"
  • With a wave of his hand, four bodyguards rushed out from behind him. They were all over six feet tall, with muscular bodies, and immediately lunged towards the monster.
  • The monster waved his hand, and four ropes flew out, attaching to the necks of the four men. Instantly, their bodies tensed up, and then mechanically turned around, their eyes filled with immense fear.
  • These four men appeared possessed, completely unable to control their own bodies. They drew their guns from their waists and aimed at the Ding family.
  • The middle-aged man with the large head and prominent ears was shocked. He stood up and said, "Friend, I am..."
  • "Bang!"
  • One of the bodyguards fired directly, and the bullet pierced through his arm. He screamed in pain and fell to the ground. The people at the scene were frightened and screamed, crouching down and covering their heads.
  • "Ding Jian, come here," the monster said in a cold voice, sounding like the friction of gold hair, very strange.
  • Ding Jian heard his name being called and his pain seemed to vanish. However, he was so scared that he wet his pants and lay on the ground pretending to be dead.
  • Ding Fengtang immediately said, "Ding Jian, he's calling you."
  • At this moment, Ding Fengtang no longer cared about protecting his grandson. He had to protect himself first! He knew that he must not provoke this monster right now!
  • Ding Jian slowly stood up, his legs trembling, his expression filled with fear. He stammered, "You... me..."
  • The monster grabbed his neck, lifted him up, and coldly asked, "Did you arrange for someone to cause the car accident in the Ye family back then?"
  • The air around the monster trembled, and the others couldn't hear their conversation at all. They could only see the two of them opening their mouths to speak.
  • Ding Jian widened his eyes and said, "You... are you Ye Tian?"
  • The monster was indeed Ye Tian, and he said coldly, "Yes, it's me! You killed my parents, my sister-in-law, and paralyzed my older brother. Today, I will make you pay with your blood!"
  • Ding Jian cried in fear and pleaded, "Please don't kill me! It wasn't me, it was him!"
  • He pointed to the person not far away, who was squatting on the ground, bandaging his wounds. This person was the local troublemaker named Wang Wei. Wang Wei was taken aback, although he couldn't hear what Ding Jian was saying, he had a vague sense that something was not right!
  • "Was it him who caused the car accident?"
  • "Yes, he brought two people with him to do it!" Ding Jian pleaded, "Please don't kill me!"
  • Ye Tian asked coldly, "Besides you and him, were there any other people involved in this?"
  • Ding Jian replied, "No, wait... It was my father and Wang Wei who sent you to prison, it had nothing to do with me, they planned it together."
  • Ye Tian asked in a cold voice, "Which one is your father?"
  • Ding Jian pointed to a middle-aged man with a beard.
  • The middle-aged man was startled and quickly stood up.
  • Ye Tian shook the rope in his hand, and two bodyguards rushed over to lift him up in mid-air, while another bodyguard raised his gun and fired.
  • "Bang!"
  • The gunshot hit the middle-aged man directly in the forehead, killing him instantly. The people around screamed and fell to the ground one after another.
  • The two bodyguards placed the body in a coffin.
  • Ye Tian shook the rope again, and the bodyguards dragged the injured Wang Wei over.
  • Wang Wei stood in front of Ye Tian, living up to his reputation as a tough guy. Even now, his eyes were still fierce as he said in a stern voice, "Unless you kill all my brothers, they will definitely avenge me!"
  • Ye Tian said coldly, "Did you order someone to cause that accident?"
  • Wang Wei was taken aback and glanced at Ding Jian, angrily asking, "Did you say that, kid?"
  • Trembling, Ding Jian said, "Uncle Wang, it was you who did it, it has nothing to do with me! You and my father framed Ye Tian and sent him to prison."
  • Wang Wei narrowed his eyes and said, "So you're Ye Tian? Hmph, now that I know your name, do you think you can get away with killing someone today?"
  • "Bang!"
  • One of the bodyguards raised his hand and fired a shot, placing the body in the second coffin.
  • Then, Ye Tian inquired about the two people who carried out the orders. These two men were in their thirties and screamed in agony when the bodyguards caught them.
  • But it was futile, as the bodyguards shot each of them, throwing their bodies into the coffins.
  • Ye Tian said calmly, "I brought seven coffins, I can't leave empty-handed. Ding Jian, tell me, among the people here, who has committed the most evil deeds?"
  • Ding Jian was already terrified, and he pointed at his grandfather, Ding Fengtang, saying, "It's him, this old man is extremely wicked. In the past, he deliberately caused a landslide with explosives to seize the coal mine, burying thirty-nine people from ten households. He also deceived hundreds of people and imprisoned them, forcing them to mine for him for free. He is a great evildoer."
  • Ye Tian shook the rope, and the bodyguards dragged Ding Fengtang over. Ding Fengtang screamed loudly, "Please don't kill me, please..."
  • "Bang!"
  • The bodyguard fired another shot, throwing the body into the fifth coffin.
  • "There are still two more," he said calmly.
  • Ding Jian's eyes shifted as he pointed to a man in his forties and said, "Him, Ding Hongyi, my third uncle. He is responsible for most of the bad things my grandfather did!"
  • The bodyguard then pulled Ding Hongyi over and shot him in the head, throwing him into the sixth coffin.
  • Ding Jian wanted to identify a third person, but Ye Tian interrupted, "That's enough. The last coffin is reserved for you."
  • Ding Jian screamed, "No! You can't kill me, you..."
  • "Poof!"
  • The four bodyguards each took out a dagger and repeatedly stabbed Ding Jian's body. Blood gushed out of his mouth as he struggled and pleaded loudly.
  • When he stopped moving, he was also thrown into a coffin.
  • Ye Tian remained expressionless as he shook a rope, causing the four bodyguards to fall to the ground, convulsing.
  • He then carried the seven coffins and swiftly left the Ding family.
  • Ten minutes later, the police arrived at the scene and immediately began their pursuit of the killer. They quickly discovered the seven coffins, but unfortunately, they had already been doused in gasoline and set on fire, leaving no clues behind!
  • The following day, shocking news spread throughout the entire city of Haicheng. The wealthy tycoon Ding Fengtang and his two sons and grandson were murdered by "Bai Wuchang." Additionally, Haicheng's underground emperor Wang Wei and his two henchmen were also killed.
  • Meanwhile, Ye Tian had sought revenge for his grievances. That night, he went to the graves of his parents and sister-in-law to burn incense and make offerings. By the time he returned home, it was already past one in the morning.
  • At that moment, Wang Hu and his son were still kneeling at the front gate, but they were barely conscious, in a semi-comatose state. Despite their condition, they continued to kowtow, their heads swollen with large blood clots, presenting a horrifying sight.
  • Ye Tian found them obstructive and coldly said, "You may leave for now! I will deal with you slowly in the future!"
  • Wang Dalong and Wang Hu, feeling as if they had received a reprieve, called for their family members who were waiting outside the gate and were then supported as they staggered away.
  • Back in the room, Yan'er surprisingly remained awake, standing beside Ye Shaodong. When she saw Ye Tian return, she jumped up happily, exclaiming, "Uncle!"
  • Ye Tian lifted her up and then picked up the bag in his hand, smiling as he said, "Yan'er, guess what's inside?"
  • It turned out that Ye Tian had bought some snacks that children love on the way and brought them along. He also packed dinner for Ye Shaodong.
  • Yan'er opened the bag and her eyes widened with delight, "Wow, so many delicious treats! Thank you, Uncle!"
  • Ye Tian turned on the TV and let Yan'er watch cartoons while she ate.
  • After the meal, Ye Tian continued to treat Ye Shaodong, feeding him a bowl of medicine. During the treatment, Ye Shaodong felt a slight warmth in the lower part of his waist.
  • His eyebrows raised in surprise and joy as he asked, "Xiao Tian, I can feel it! The lower part of my body is warming up!"
